If you want to place the panels from one corner of the wall to the other, the elements which extend too far (e.g., in case of the brick pattern – the brick halves) will need to be cut. This is why the first and the last panel in any given row will be narrower. Select this option and the calculator will take the need of cutting a part of the panel into account.
